Career

Alice studied for three years at Royal Holloway in London and a year in Modern Dance at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

She started out in theatre, co-creating her own theatre company, SWEETFA, with fellow actress Frederica Dunstan in 2001. The company put on a show DIVORCED BEHEADED DIED at the Jermyn St Theatre in London, where Alice first gained representation.

Alice is perhaps best known for her powerful portrayal of the infamous Livia Drusilla in the HBO smash ROME. Starring in three episodes, she soon shot to attention and gained quite a following. She subsequently appeared in David Cronenberg's EASTERN PROMISES, acting opposite Viggo Mortensen and Vincent Cassel. Since then she has worked on EASTENDERS, THE BILL, ROCK RIVALS and proved to be a popular character in the new BBC comedy MY ALMOST FAMOUS FAMILY.

Alice has also taken on the lead in many films including SHADOWS IN THE WIND with Atraco Perfecto Productions and VENDETTA with Black Bull Films. She also shot the lead role in new feature THE LAST MAN, out 2010.
